Well, we had our first Christmas with little Isaac. Of course it turned out wonderful because we have the best gift in the world. I will try and not be too emotional because I know how annoying it is. I don't want to be compared to Tom Cruise when he jumped on Oprah's couch! Nope, that will not be the Mosbruckers! Anyways, back to our first Christmas. First Isaac got a great taste of his parents crazy undesiveness. We could not decide if we were going to the Chicagoland area to spend Christmas with my parents. The weather was bad and we were afraid to make the trip with a newborn. Anyways, after about 10 hours of going back and forth and acutally packing the entire suburban, we decided to stay and go to Beulah to spend Christmas with Devin's family. Devin's mom has been staying with us to take care of Isaac. So, he has not actually even started daycare. Grandma Nancy has been so generous and offered to stay to care for Isaac so he did not need to go to daycare. We are so thankful because it has been so cold and the thought of him getting packed up and sent to spend a day sitting in the cold daycare floor killed me. Grandma has also been so helpful around the house doing all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. She has made my transition back to work so easy. So that has also been a great Christmas gift as well. So that is our first Chrismas together!

Onto Isaac, he is getting so big. He babbles, loves to look around and will throw himself back to look at all of his surroundings. He sleeps about 6 hours a night. So, I get up about once a night to change and feed him. It is not bad though because I really get excited to see him again. It is so funny to talk to him because he stares at me and then talks back! He has a temper like mom. He throws himself back and snorts when he is about to have a crying explosion. I figure, that is my warning before the explosion hits and the crying becomes ear piercing. A lot of times, neither Devin or I can figure out what he is trying to tell us with his crying.

Well, that is all for now. I am going to blog again soon to share Kade's (Isaac's best friends) babtism yesterday.

2 months

Well, Isaac is now 2 months and the time has really flown by. He had his very first holiday, Thanksgiving.  We had his grandma Nancy and niece Santanna here to share in his holiday.  Also, his buddy Kade came over to join in the festivus (along with his parents).  Isaac slept the day away.

Currently, his daily activities consist of talking to the Christmas tree, mirror, and his favorite picture on the wall by his changing table.  His smile will melt your heart.  Devin took him to his 2 month doctor appointment.  The doctor said that he is as strong as a 4 month old.  Not to brag or anything but I think he gets that from me ;)  He got his shots and Devin said that watching him cry was the worst thing imaginable.  Glad that was not me taking him to the doctor.  Well, I better go and get to my baby!  I have been spending way too long trying to figure this montage thing out.  Kidding, I spent about an hour swearing last night and got smart and got Devin up this morning and he figured it out in like 5 minutes.  It pays to be married to a computer programmer.

Below is a montage of Isaac's first months.  Click and enjoy!
