Wrap-up

I know it has been awhile since I have been on this blog. So I will do my best to give you all a quick wrap up in my life.
Isaac is growing and talking so much. He is such a little ham. He is trying to say pretty much any word that you say. He loves kids and will run after them saying "kids, kids" with such a big smile. He still loves to be loud and scream.

We got to spend some time in Beulah for Keanon's graduation. That was a great time. Isaac loves playing with his little cousins. He even got to sleep with them and would wake up with such a big smile. We are all very proud of Keanon for his accomplishments and can't wait to see him excel in college and sports. I even got to go out and have a good time in Beulah. Thanks Grandma Nancy for taking such good care of Ikie while I got to go out for some fun. Some of those stories will remain a little private. I hear I was trying to "party Fargo style in Beulah" or something like that. :)

We also have been spending time at our camper at the lake. Ikie really enjoys that. He will smile and say "lake, Kade, camping." Actually it sounds more like "ake, ade, amping." Kade and Isaac really enjoy playing together and act all excited to play and see each other. Then the next minute they are hand fighting and hitting each other over a toy. We have to make sure that they both get the same drink, glass, food, plate so they don't want what the other one has.

Isaac is actually turning into a momma's boy. Devin tells me "that is what you wanted right." Well not exactly. I wanted Isaac to want me but gosh....I don't want him to be so upset when I have to leave him. Mornings are getting a little tough. I get him ready in the mornings. Then I need to hand him over to Devin so he can bring him to daycare. Isaac doesn't want to go to Devin. He wants to stay with me and cries for me. I feel like I abandon him and leave for work. So tough. Devin thinks that it is a "control thing and Isaac is fine as soon as I shut the door." Either way, it still hurts this momma.

Isaac is also starting to have tantrums that will make life miserable for anyone around him for about 15 minutes. We have them about 5 times a day. The other day, he was so mad that I made him wear a life jacket on the boat. He cried, carried on, hit me, threw his body around, his arms became so limp and squirmy that I could barely hold on to him. I tried to redirect him and have him sit on his dad's lap and carry on. He did not want to do it and wanted to make sure that I was the lucky recipient of this tantrum as usual. Lucky me. The hard part is when these tantrums occur out in public. The only thing that works for these tantrums are to put him in his crib for a time out. Well obviously at the lake or in stores, we don't have a time out crib. Also, during these tantrum fits we have horrible snot issues. Isaac doesn't like to use a tissue so he wipes his snot nose on my shoulder/shirt. By this time, I am so beat down from him throwing his body around that me wearing a snot shirt is the least of my worries.

I also am so behind in taking pictures, my goal is to get some again as soon as I can. You will all be amazed at how big he is getting
